11:25 am - We are halfway through the second and final practice session and the rain has arrived. It's raining quite heavily now and Joerg has gone out on rain tires. Because there's nothing more we can accomplish on setup in the rain, we'll do a few more laps and then head in to the garage.
9:45 - Checkered on morning practice. All is well. Joerg is heading back to the garage. We'll be back on track at 11:00 am ET today.
9:41 am - Good morning from Daytona. It's a damp start to the day, rain has begun just in time for morning practice. Joerg is out in the No. 45- we will only have a short time on track this morning as the crew needed to complete the race transmission install. There are only a few cars out at the moment because of the wet track. It looks like we may have more rain - I'm sure it will be just in time for our second practice session at 11 am today. Joerg was able to shakedown the gearbox in this morning's session though so we have that complete.
